## About the Role

Virtuous Group is looking for a creative, proactive Social Media Intern with practical experience in managing accounts and growing reach, engagement, and followers.

## Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute the monthly social media content calendar.

• Create engaging captions, posts, carousels, stories, and short videos for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.

• Help grow followers, engagement, reach, and brand visibility organically.

• Support LinkedIn and Instagram advertising, including audience research, campaign setup, monitoring, and reporting.

• Research relevant trends, keywords, hashtags, and competitor content.

• Coordinate with designers and video editors, and assist with shooting and editing reels, interviews, and behind-the-scenes content.

• Respond appropriately to comments and messages.

• Track performance, prepare regular reports, and recommend practical improvements.

• Support campaigns, events, webinars, and launches while maintaining a consistent brand voice and visual identity.

## Mandatory Skills and Experience

• \*\*At least three months of hands-on social media experience\*\*, gained through a previous internship, substantial college-based work, or professional account management. Coursework or certification alone is insufficient.

• \*\*Working knowledge of LinkedIn and Instagram is essential\*\*, including content formats, organic growth, analytics, and advertising.

• \*\*Basic practical exposure to LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Meta Ads Manager\*\*, with an understanding of campaign objectives, audience targeting, budgets, and performance metrics.

• Experience creating and publishing content, monitoring results, and improving account performance.

• Good English writing and communication skills, with the ability to turn business ideas into simple, engaging content.

• Familiarity with Canva and basic video-editing tools such as InShot or similar platforms.

• Creativity, attention to detail, ownership, and the ability to meet deadlines.

## Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate, final-year student, or postgraduate student in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, Business, or a related field.

• Experience with B2B, manufacturing, exports, MSMEs, consulting, or professional-service brands.

• A portfolio demonstrating content created, accounts managed, or measurable growth achieved.
