Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Depending on how you use Gnixar Jobs, we collect:

• Account data — name, email, and a hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
• Candidate data — resume files, work history, education, skills, job preferences, and any answers you submit on a job application.
• Recruiter data — company profile details (name, logo, description, website) and job postings.
• Usage data — pages visited, searches performed, and jobs viewed/saved, used to show you more relevant results.

2. How we use it

• To create and secure your account, and let you sign in.
• To match candidates with relevant job postings based on stated preferences.
• To let recruiters review applications and manage their job postings.
• Where you've opted in, to write or tailor a resume using an AI service (see Section 4) and to email you about new matching jobs or application status updates.
• To send essential account emails (verification codes, sign-in links, and — if you apply without an existing account — your auto-generated password).

3. Sharing with recruiters

When you apply to a job, the recruiter's company can see your name, email, resume, and any answers you submitted for that application, plus the job preferences you've set (used to give them context on your fit). We do not sell your data to third parties, and recruiters cannot see your data unless you apply to one of their jobs.

4. Third-party processors

We rely on the following services to operate Gnixar Jobs. Each only receives the data needed to do its job:

• Cloud database & file storage — stores your account data and uploaded/generated resume files.
• Email delivery — sends verification codes, sign-in links, and notification emails.
• AI resume generation (Anthropic) — when enabled, your typed profile details (and text extracted from an uploaded resume) are sent to generate or tailor a resume. This is optional — you can use Gnixar Jobs without it.

5. Cookies

We use a single HTTP-only session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Your choices

• Edit or delete your job preferences, resume, and profile anytime from your dashboard.
• Turn off job-match and company-alert emails from Preferences.
• Request full account deletion by emailing us at the address below.

7. Data retention

We keep your account and application data for as long as your account is active, so recruiters can review past applications and you can track their status. Deleted accounts are removed within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain records by law.
